Purplish pink with white flecks. Truly distinctive art handmade in Vermont from stoneware clay, glazed, and then epoxied to medical-grade steel. An heirloom piece!
"Raspberry Corkscrew" is one of my longer stoppers, and will look amazing on top of any bottle you want to show off. (I have a similar one in a bottle of scotch - its always a conversation starter!) This guy was tough to form - pulling a piece this long and having it curl properly without breaking is very hard to do. Now that its been fired it has a very nice heft and solid feel in your hand. This is a favorite glaze combination for me - the little white flecks and swirls on top of the glaze are hard to describe, but truly quite beautiful.
Perfect for your favorite bottle of wine, whiskey, vinegar, home-made spirits, or even perfume.
"Raspberry Corkscrew" is about 7 inches high from the tip of the stainless to tip of the curl. Width-wise, its about 2 inches at its widest.
(Unlike most stoppers that are plated and can flake or pit, these are medical-grade and can be kept in a bottle for as long as you like.) These are *not* your run-of-the-mill corner store stoppers -- they are a labor of love, each truly one-of-a-kind, take hours to make, and are built to last!
